Wood Pellet Activated Carbon

Wood Pellet Activated Carbon

Product Introduction
Wooden pellet activated carbon is also known as columnar activated carbon. And it is made from high-quality wood chips, coconut shells, etc. as raw materials, which are crushed, mixed, extruded, shaped, dried, carbonized, and activated. The production process includes raw material crushing, impurity removal, mixing, extrusion, molding, drying, carbonization, activation, screening, and other steps, giving it excellent surface area and adsorption capacity.

Wooden pellet activated carbon has large specific surface area, developed pores, high strength, strong adsorption capacity and good chemical stability. It can be widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other gases, harmful and toxic, microbial purification, filtration and adsorption, and can be recycled.

Product parameter

Size: 3mm , 4mm , customized

Iodine value: Mg/g 500-1100

Specific surface area m2/g: 500-1200

Hardness %: 90-99

Application:

Water treatment – Widely used in water treatment to purify water sources, remove pollutants, and improve water quality.

Air purification – It can remove harmful gases and odors from the air, such as in waste incineration gas treatment.

Food processing – Pellet wood-based activated carbon can be used for decolorization, deodorization, and purification in food processing.

Pharmaceutical field – Can be used for drug purification, toxin adsorption, and other applications.

Advantages:

Because it uses high-quality sawdust and coconut shells as raw materials, the columnar activated carbon has lower ash content, fewer impurities, and absolute advantages in gas phase adsorption value and CTC than traditional coal-based columnar carbon. The pore size distribution of the product is reasonable, achieving maximum adsorption and desorption, thereby greatly extending the service life of the product (average 2-3 years), which is 1.4 times that of ordinary coal-based charcoal.
